Lade Tawak is a problem solver, connector, and creator working across Research, UX/CX, Product, and AI Strategy & Implementation. Through her research, training, consulting, coaching and facilitation, she has worked with businesses across the globe over the last 10 years, connecting them with insights and strategic expertise needed to achieve organisational goals, improve operations, and create delightful experiences.

She helps individuals, teams, and businesses who are at thresholds and in transition to unlock the insights and actions that create success and move them to the next step.

She has worked with startups, agencies, and multinationals with focus in multiple countries including in Sub Saharan Africa, Europe, North America, and Asia to better understand people and problems so they can create useful and usable products across various sectors and industries.

Some of the organisations I’ve worked with include CcHUB, Interswitch Group, 54gene, Paystack, Google, and Lobster Ink, and my work has cut across various areas including voice assistants, browsers, localisation, healthcare, financial services, and education.

Working also as a Career and Personal Development coach, she helps people find clarity about their career plans and goals and helps them in taking the decisive steps they need to achieve them. With her Psychology background, action based coaching and proprietary frameworks, she has worked with 100s of individuals globally to figure out and achieve their career and personal development goals.

She is heavily involved in community building activities, especially those focused on supporting women to get into tech and to advance their careers in whatever industry they are in.

Lade is a writer and international speaker. She’s hosted, spoken at, and written for various international events and publications including university guest lectures, ESOMAR, Business Insider SSA, UXInsight Festival, World IA Day, World Usability Conference, Google Dev Fest, Product Tank Nairobi, and others. She's heavily involved in community building activities, especially those focused on supporting women to get into tech and to advance their careers in whatever industry they are in.

She is a co author of Designing Usable Products for African Users: The African Product Resilience Framework (Routledge Press).

Lade is also a strong advocate for inclusion and an active mentor for both individuals and startups, personally and through communities such as ForCreativeGirls, Ladies That UX Amsterdam, DFSLab, Google for Startups, among others.

She has been awarded and recognised across different spaces including  being one of She Leads Africa Top 50 Rising Motherland Moguls in 2025 and a finalist for the Connector Award and Tech NINJA of the Year, Female Award in the Nigerians in Netherlands Juggernaut Appreciation Awards (NINJA Awards) in 2024. She was a judge for the Africa Challenger Brand Report in 2021 and has been featured in User Weekly, Women Talk Design, First Check First Movers, and Inspiring Girls Hub.

Whether she’s coaching people through career transitions, building their personal brand, or career clarity or she’s helping businesses reduce churn, implement AI strategy, or improve service delivery, her focus is always on problem solving and goal achievement.

While her interests are wide and varied, my top cares are Jesus, my family & friends, and building products, people, communities, and experiences. She enjoys reading, Netflixing, traveling, hosting, baking, and finding new hobbies.
