Over a 9 month period, I led various research projects for the Chrome UX team with the broad goal of identifying opportunities for Chrome in SSA.

The Chrome UX team was interested in ways of increasing engagement on Chrome on Android by providing better value to customers. There was no clear direction on what to approach so I started with informal interviews and desk research. The findings led to a diary study to understand offline behaviours.  From the Diary Study, I learnt that people were saving content for later use and identified 3 distinct user groups. These groups were used to recruit for 1:1 interviews aimed at understanding this content saving behaviour and the findings led to Concept Testing various prototypes and the final result was a new feature on Chrome Android to snooze downloads
